Bayside Pet Resort Dedicates Itself To Client Services And Community Causes

Osprey, Florida - Bayside Pet Resort with locations in Sarasota and Osprey, Florida continues activities that establish it as a five-star pet resort with a special commitment to support causes important to local communities. The new Bayside logo reflects the spirit of a pet resort with a heart.

Bayside’s services and facilities are second to none, featuring sparkling clean pet suites, webcams, in-ground doggy pools, cats-only play areas, and more. One only has to visit their web page, You Tube Channel, or Facebook page, or read the many positive customer reviews to understand that the trained professionals at Bayside know what they’re doing, and they really care about the well-being of their four-legged guests. But, that’s not the whole story.

Underlying Bayside’s excellent facilities and services is the clear, quiet, mission of owners Bob and Lynne Huff to make a positive difference in the community. They’re clearly not just another pet boarding, training, or grooming facility. A few recent examples show how they carry out this mission:

Bayside is actively involved in using and supporting the Bradenton Bridges of America program, a work-release transition program that allows inmates to get work experience. Angie Pantazis, director at Bayside Pet Resorts, says there are six Bridges inmates working there. Bayside and other local companies like Custom Climate Concepts, Denny’s of Bradenton Florida, Cedar Reef Fish Camp, Best Brand Bottlers, and the Seafood Shack, took an active role in successfully encouraging the state to keep the Bridges program open, despite pending funding cuts.

Angie believes doing the right thing for the program also benefits Bayside, and its clients. “…we can all agree that they’ve been a contributing part of the Bayside family and we are forever changed by their presence. Because of their outstanding performance, upon completion of the program, our hope is that they stay on as Bayside employees.”

In the spirit of families helping families, Bayside hosts special Easter Seals events, and supports the youth training program - helping special needs youth prepare themselves for employment. Bayside has hired two young adults from this program who have become important additions to the Bayside team.

In May, 2016, the fun Bow Wow Luau held at Bayside's Osprey location, raised $11,000 for the nonprofit animal rescue, Satchel’s Last Resort. Bayside supports this organization that provides lifelong shelter to dogs and cats deemed unadoptable, nurtures and trains borderline dogs, and offers temporary shelter to adoptable dogs and cats.

Judging by the seventy-five, five-star client reviews earned by their Osprey facility, Bayside takes great pride in caring for their dog and cat guests, and the betterment of the community is just as much a part of their reason for being.
