Attorney Kevin Cortright to Appear on Desert Living on KMIR Palm Springs

The Law Offices of Kevin Cortright has been asked to participate and has agreed to participate in KMIR Channel 4 weekly live broadcast of Desert Living. Mr. Cortright will be discussing legal issues that affect those living in the desert community. Each weekly show is 30 minutes long and features prominent businesses in the Palm Springs area. Mr. Cortright’s episode will be heard live on Fridays at 1130AM Pacific time. Additionally, they will replay two other times during the day. Each segment which will discus legal issues will last approximately four minutes.

The first episode was about Auto Insurance and why it is important. Bryan Gallo of NBC News Palm Springs interviews Attorney Kevin Cortright about the purpose and importance of having proper auto insurance coverage. They discuss the reasons we have auto insurance and the minimum required policy limits. Some of the highlights included a discussion on the different kinds of auto insurance coverage that is available to individuals. Including Liability Coverage, Comprehensive Coverage, Uninsured Coverage, and Underinsured Coverage. Individuals were encouraged to check their auto insurance declaration pages to see if their coverage levels were adequate. If not, they were encouraged to contact their insurance broker or agent to make the appropriate adjustments.

Mr. Cortright stated that he feels bad when after the fact he has to tell a client that the person who caused the auto accident did not have adequate insurance. And additionally that their own insurance was inadequate to cover their damages and or losses.
