Smart Kitchen, an online cooking school, is happy to announce that they have launched a huge database full of chef-inspired gourmet recipes that can be used for free. The database is designed to help people get the most possible enjoyment out of cooking. Customers are encouraged to check it out and head into the kitchen to start cooking.

"We wanted to do something different from the rest of the recipe websites that are out there," says Perry Herst, founder of Smart Kitchen. "This is why we link each recipe not only to its ingredients, but also to the necessary cooking equipment and to the culinary terms database. Hence, people will never have to worry about not knowing what something is, or not knowing what a certain piece of equipment is."

Essentially, the recipe database has been designed to be more than just a list of recipes. It is designed to provide a lesson on how to create the most delicious dishes. Additionally, it is presented in such a way that even cooking amateurs can create restaurant-quality foods.

Smart Kitchen is committed to helping people be healthy, while continuing to enjoy the best possible foods. This is why they offer free recipes for homemade chicken nuggets, for instance, which is a favorite with children. The difference is that these chicken nuggets have high nutritional value that will not send children towards early obesity.

Additionally, the company wants to be inclusive of all backgrounds. While the database continues to grow, they have already included a subsection with kosher dishes. "We want to make sure that everybody is able to eat good, hearty food," adds Herst. "This means that if certain people are restricted in their diets due to their religious beliefs or dietary needs, they should still be able to come to us for advice and inspiration. We currently have a kosher section, but we will be adding other sections, including vegetarian and vegan or lactose-free, for instance."

People are encouraged to explore the database on smartkitchen.com/recipes. New recipes are added regularly and the site is growing rapidly. Anyone stuck for food this evening, therefore, now knows where to go.
