Aurora, Colorado -

Global Dog Breeds, a website that offers individual dog breed reviews, has provided details about various large dog breeds from around the world. This site features a vast list of dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Large breeds are one amazing size to pet at home. They are great as work dogs and watch dogs. In addition, people looking for toy dogs may also check out the exclusive list on the website.

One of the large dog breeds featured in the site is the German Shepherd lab mix, which is the German Sheprador. This lab mix is the result of a cross between the German Shepherd and the Labrador Retriever. This dog breed, which exhibits the characteristics of both parents, is recognized by the Dog Registry of America but there is no available information about its origin.

The German Sheprador is a friendly and loyal dog, and loves to spend time with family. They can form good relationships with family, children, and other animals. However, they will require some training when they are puppies. They are well-known for their kindness and intelligence but they should not be left alone because they can develop separation anxiety. They are known for their alertness, which makes them suitable as guard dogs.

The German Sheprador is very energetic and therefore need vigorous activities daily. Running, jogging and intense play sessions every day are recommended to keep them fit. They also need to be provided with sufficient mental stimulation. Access to a fenced yard and visits to a dog park are suggested. They are more suitable for a big house rather than an apartment.

The original Shih Tzu is believed to have come from Tibet in the early 1600s. However, the present-day Shih Tzu originated in China in the 1800s during the reign of Chinese Empress Dowager Cixi, from a cross between a Pekingese and a Lhasa Apso. While it became a favorite pet of the royal people, its population was reduced when British troops invaded the city in 1860. The breed survived but it only became popular in 1934 when the smaller and shorter variety was designated as the Shih Tzu.

The Shih Tzu can serve as an excellent companion dog because it loves to be with its owner all the time. They are very loyal and affectionate, and love to spend their whole day playing in the house or performing humorous acts to make the family members laugh. They love to interact with family members, and even with strangers. Thus, they are not suitable as watchdogs. They will bark once when they see people they are not familiar with but they are ready to befriend anyone. They tend to go well with kids and other pets in the family and they are well suited for apartment life.

The Shih Tzu is a moderately active dog and doesn’t need heavy exercise. Short jogs and walks, or frequent walks in hallways would be enough exercise for them. They also love indoor games, such as ball rolling, playing hide and seek, and toy puzzle games.

The Golden Rottie Retriever is a cross between the Rottweiler and Golden Retriever, which are both purebreds. This mix breed was developed in the late 1980s for the purpose of creating a good companion dog with a gentle appearance. The Golden Rottie tends to be loyal and devoted to its family members and it displays affectionate, confident, and gentle characteristics. It tends to be protective and always barks and warns its owner about any suspicious activity. They tend to bark excessively and have to be trained to minimize their barking. Golden Rottie puppies are ideal for first-time owners and they are suitable in a house with a yard.

The Golden Rottie Retriever can be a good partner for indoor games but it is not recommended to confine them inside the house for the whole day. They need to walk, run, or jog for approximately one to two hours a day to meet their exercise needs.
