Aid & Prep First Aid Kit Announces Better Labeling For Consumer Protection

Pasadena, California based Aid & Prep recently launched a 250 piece first aid kit for the home into the Amazon marketplace. The kit is one of the only offerings that is assembled in the USA and has complete FDA labeling as well as clearly marked lot numbers and expiration dates. It is also designed to be OSHA and ANSI compliant.

Aid & Prep is releasing a comprehensive selection of products into the Amazon marketplace all of which involve safety and preparation. Their first offering of different types of first aid kits are all assembled in the United States and provide emergency care for home, office, camping, hiking and travel. 

Most kits on the market, especially those found on Amazon are assembled in China and the consumer has no way of knowing how old the contents are and whether any of the items have expired or been recalled. That is the differentiator of the Aid & Prep brand. Lot number allow consumers to check all contents against any recall notices and expiration dates alert consumers as to when other items need to be replaced. 

Owner and CEO of Aid & Prep, Brodie Vaughn, released a statement about the company's product. He said, "Families are getting better and better at being prepared and having emergency kits and supplies on hand, but we still have to be vigilant about what is inside these kits. Even packaged water expires after several years. Our kits are clearly labeled. You know the items inside are FDA compliant and your know what to replace and when to replace it."  

Many consumers have sent in rave reviews to the company noting that their prior bad experience with first aid kits.
