Aid & Prep Announces Release of LED Light Battery Operated on Amazon

Aid & Prep, a Pasadena, CA based company known for their family emergency preparedness and outdoor gear launched a new home item in the Amazon Marketplace. The item is a two pack of cordless LED lights battery operated and is able to stick or hang anywhere. Perfect as an under cabinet light but also great for use as a night light and for sheds and storage units. The item has a novelty flare as it is shaped to look like a light switch and integrates seamlessly into any décor.

Brodie Vaughn, founder of Aid & Prep, says that he was thrilled to come upon these lights manufactured by Promier and knew we had to carry them. “We saw them in single units and knew they would make a great offering as a two pack. We are one of the only sellers on Amazon with this type of battery operated LED lighting to offer the bundle with the batteries included, so right out of the box you can light that dark closet, read in bed or see under that cabinet.”

The lights are very versatile. They can be used as a nightlight, one powerful enough to read by without eyestrain, as a light for gardening sheds, storage units, lockers and they work well in closets and pantries. “RV owners also write in to tell us how much they like the lights for their patio and sleeping areas. This is what we love about the product, so many uses with a very cool design,” says Vaughn.

The light uses the latest COB (Chip On Board) LED's. These are the most current advancement in energy efficient LED light technology. With COB technology, all the individual LED’s are clustered as part of a dense grouping, so there are no casings on the LEDs themselves. This has the advantage of saving both power and space and the light switch light can produce much more light in very small space and does so while using much less energy.

The light switch lights have a double-sided Velcro tape to mount anywhere and have an indentation for hanging. The double sided Velcro allows the lights to be easily removed when the batteries need replacing, a feature Mr. Vaughn says they insisted on after hearing competitors customers complain about the inability for stick-on lights to be properly re-secured again after being removed more than one time.

Aid & Prep is backing the lights with a 100% warranty and they announced that they anticipate more offerings in the LED light space in the coming months.
