Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta based Cambridge Electronics Incorporated is pleased to announce the store launch of two of the latest Samsung products, the Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71, this coming Friday (May 8th). The Samsung Galaxy A51 was released last December 2019 while the Samsung Galaxy A71 was released in January 2020.

On paper, both the Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 are packed with a number of impressive features. The Galaxy A51 utilizes the Infinity-O display, which lets the user see more on their 6.5” screen (which is powered by super AMOLED technology). Another interesting feature of the model is its quad camera, which consists of a 48MP main camera, a 5MP depth camera, a 5MP macro camera and an ultrawide 12MP camera that has a 123-degree view angle—which is similar to the human eye. In addition, the quad camera can capture videos with up to 2160p at 30fps. The model also has a 32MP front-facing camera that can capture crystal clear selfies. Furthermore, the phone has a non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging capability. The Galaxy A51 weighs 172g, has 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB of storage and runs on the latest Android 10 OS.

Notably, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also packs a variety of impressive features that are similar to the A51. The model utilizes the Infinity-O display on its 6.7” screen as well, for instance, and it too features a quad camera, with the depth, macro, and ultrawide camera having the same specs as the ones in the Galaxy A51. However, the A71’s main camera has more megapixels, effectively allowing it to capture photos with more details. Additionally, the model’s main camera also has 64MP, which gives the users the ability to capture even more clear and crisp pictures. The model’s battery is more impressive—a non-removable Li-Po 4,500 mAh battery with 25W super fast charging capability. The Galaxy A71 weighs 179g, has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on the latest Android 10 platform as well.

Dan L’Heureux, a representative of the company, says, “These Samsung phones have really good features that customers, especially ones with a passion for photography, will really appreciate. The company aims to provide people with the phone that would best fit their needs and lifestyles. In order to provide our customers even more excellent phone options, our company has decided to have the Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 launch this May 8th. These models will be available in our stores from this date onwards.”

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, L’Heureux asserts that the launch can still push through and be done safely. He states, “Rest assured, the safety of our customers is of utmost priority to us. We are following all safety precautions, such as providing comprehensive personal protection equipment (PPE) to our team members in order to ensure everyone’s safety. As an essential service provider, we acknowledge the responsibility that we have, and we will continue to ramp up our efforts in order to keep our customers connected despite the crisis.”

Cambridge Electronics Incorporated has temporarily closed many of their stores around the country in order to help curb the spread of COVID-19. However, several Telus stores will still remain open in order to provide essential services such as repairs and loaner devices, SIM card swaps and key accessories and critical new services activation. The company also provides a “Locate a Store” feature on their website in order to make it easier for their customers to avail themselves of any essential services.

The company is also offering remote installations as well as flexible payment options for consumer and small business customers who have been financially affected by the crisis. Furthermore, customers may manage their accounts online by logging into the website or using the “My Telus” mobile application, which allows the users to view and pay their bills, monitor their usage and manage their products and services. Finally, the company has said that they are postponing all disconnection dates until further notice.
