Two charities go hand in hand for Qurbani.

HNCO is happy, humble and honoured to collaborate with Muslim Hands for Qurbani 2019.

For a charity established in a small town in the North West, HNCO has been living up to its motto ‘help where it’s needed most’ since it started in October, 2017. From community outreach programs across Lancashire and weekly homeless feeds in Burnley and Manchester (and soon-to-be Birmingham and beyond), the team recently fed 60 villages in India and Pakistan during its ‘Feed a Village’ Ramadan Food Drive and there is a group of volunteers currently working to install 100 water pumps in some of the world’s most remote and rural regions.

As part of an ongoing effort to ensure donations benefit those that need them the most, wherever in the world they may be, HNCO has teamed up with global organisation Muslim Hands to assist in Qurbani 2019. By teaming up with an organisation with the experience, outreach and respect such as Muslim Hands has, HNCO can get to all the people in all the places where it could otherwise struggle logistically due to manpower, overseas licensing and other formalities.

Now, not only will money from donations from supporters go farther, they will also stretch further; for as HNCO will be accompanying Muslim Hands on its own projects, 100% of donations made through HNCO will go directly to the cause itself rather than a portion being required for separate administration costs.

Qurbani is such a special and significant time in the Muslim calendar that it seemed the perfect time to officially launch this new partnership, especially as there will be plenty of people looking for a charity to donate to in time for Eid al Adha. HNCO urges anyone who qualifies to participate in Qurbani to do so through an official charity such as HNCO; where they can pay either for a full or part sacrifice.

This year as well as Qurbani, HNCO will be organising Eid presents for children, and gifts for adults too. Everyone deserves to celebrate Eid, no matter where they are, no matter how much money they have, or don’t have.
