Donations going farther, and stretching further.
Qurbani 2019 marks official launch of new partnership between HNCO and Muslim Hands.
As part of an ongoing effort to ensure donations benefit those that need them the most, wherever in the world they may be, HNCO has teamed up with global organisation Muslim Hands to collaborate on projects at home and abroad.
With over 25 years’ experience, field offices in more than 30 locations, and projects that have benefited tens of thousands of men, women and children in over 50 countries across the globe, it is impossible not to be impressed by the great things Muslim Hands has achieved. HNCO may be small in comparison but the charity and its growing team of volunteers has big ambitions.
Now, not only will money from donations from supporters go farther, they will also stretch further; for as HNCO will be accompanying Muslim Hands on its own projects, 100% of donations made through HNCO will go directly to the cause itself rather than a portion being required for separate administration costs. And, by teaming up with an organisation with the experience, outreach and respect such as Muslim Hands has, HNCO can get to all the people in all the places where it could otherwise struggle logistically due to manpower, overseas licensing and other formalities.
The two charities will work together on regular aid programs such as food supplies, medical relief, education programs, as well as emergency and disaster outreach as and when required.
HNCO already has areas that its teams of volunteers work in regularly, which stretch from Pendle to Pakistan, with some of the most generous and selfless supported in the world; yet its remit is limited due to certain legislation in particular areas. Rather than sit by and wait for the lengthy process of this being rectified, the North West charity has chosen Muslim Hands as an avenue to ensure that the kindness and generosity of its supporters is not curtailed by geographical location. And, with a motto that reads ‘help where it’s needed most’, that’s exactly where donations will go.
HNCO Muslim Charity is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil. His daughter, Hajjah Naziha Adil Kabbani is a descendant of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through both her maternal and paternal lineages.
