How Things Work Science Projects, based in Burlington, IA, announced that they are launching a new series of science projects for teachers. Additionally, they are releasing several new children's books. The new line of children's books will be available on Amazon. These books are designed to help children get to know science at an earlier age.

Dave York from How Things Work Science Projects says: "There's a whole world of everyday stuff out there that begs the question, 'How does that work' or 'why does that work' or 'what caused that to happen'. On How Things Work, teachers, students or just interested folks can find various resources, 'how to do' projects, science fair topics and other valuable information about the subject of their choice. From, 'Is dog saliva really antiseptic' to 'does getting older affect your memory', we have the answer to a lot of questions - or we help you to find it yourself."

Dave York explains that they are committed to helping children of all ages get exposed to a variety of scientific topics in a way that they can understand, while also making it interesting for them. They offer science equipment, HTW science books, games, software, activities, and a range of different science projects. In fact, there are now so many different projects listed that they have had to be subdivided by category, such as material, nature, forces, and so on.

Those who have used the resources available through How Things Work Science Projects in the past have been very happy with the results of having such materials. Roberta D., for instance, says on the How Things Work website: "Thanks so much for the great resource for both teachers and students. Many of my teaching friends have used the site to help them to get great ideas for younger students who needed something age appropriate for a science fair."

The projects listed on the company's website can be used everyday at home. They were designed with teachers of different grades in mind. As such, they come with a variety of printable resources and lesson plans that can be used as is in a classroom environment.
