Date To Create Teams Up With DeLiese Cellars For Create & Sip Events in Thousand Oaks

New creative studio and new local winery bring creative fun and great wine to Thousand Oaks

Date To Create, a new creative art and crafting studio in Westlake Village, and DeLiese Cellars, a new winery and tasting room in Thousand Oaks, have joined forces for a new series of fun events they are calling Create & Sip. Their next creative event, where you can spend the afternoon sipping some wonderful wine and creating a one-of-a-kind wine bottle masterpiece, will be on April 30, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:30pm in the winery's tasting room.

Located in Westlake Village, Date To Create provides private custom-crafted parties, company parties and team building events, as well as fun date night, girls night out, guys night out, or just a fun night out for anyone. Date To Create is embracing the “Maker Movement” with creative workshops where the crafter or tinkerer in us all can have a fun social night out, make some cool stuff and come away with a unique one-of-a-kind work of art created start to finish by you over the course of a couple hours having fun, enjoying some great snacks and some even greater company. All supplies are provided and as much direction or guidance as you want or like as well by Date To Create’s founder, Donna Lowy.

A serial entrepreneur and creative soul, Donna has been helping young and old alike explore and release their creativity for more than 20 years. From producing, directing, designing and acting in theatre, to teaching and developing creative programs for kids and communities with over 25,000 participants, to starting and running two successful creative companies, Lowy has always been true to her core belief that “everyone is creative, but people often confuse creativity with being an artist and are intimidated. Date To Create is a way for people to come together in a social gathering for creative inspiration, collaboration and merriment. A fun, safe place where all are encouraged to connect, create & celebrate.

DeLiese Cellars was founded in 2013 by Dennis and Marliese Graham out of their passion for exploring fine wines. DeLiese partnered with a superb local vintner to craft their first flagship Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon, Nevaeh, with grapes from the Malibu Coast AVA. As their passion grew, so did their wine offerings. They are proud to now offer many fabulous red and white wines and look forward to sharing their passion with you. A natural progression led the owners of Date To Create and Deliese to combine their love of the creative elements that form the foundation of good wine and good fun and bring you their new Create & Sip series of fun events taking place at the comfortable Deliese Cellars tasting room.

Date To Create’s studio is located at 3625 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Suite 249 in Westlake Village, just across the street from the Maserati dealership.
