Black Helm Entertainment Preparing To Release Third Book Of The Star Angel Pentalogy

CEO and spokesman for Black Helm Entertainment, Philip Jepsen, today announced that the next installment of the "Star Angel" pentalogy, "Dawn of War", will be released in early December.  "Star Angel" is the story of a teenage girl on modern Earth who falls into a series of events that lead her on a personal quest to unravel a prophecy that sees her saving multiple worlds.  The pentalogy is five books, and two have been released.  "Awakening", which is Book One, and "Return to Anitra", which is Book Two, are in print and available.  According to Mr. Jepsen Book Three, "Dawn of War", is now through the editing process and will be formatted for print and available on schedule in early December.

"We're shooting for the eighth,"  he says.  "And it looks like we'll make that target.  At any rate, so far we're keeping to our planned schedule and things are going very well.  Mr. McDaniel, the author, has finished the final book in the pentalogy and our production division is hard at work getting them ready.  We're shooting for Book Four in February of the New Year, followed by the final book in the Spring."

Author David G McDaniel signed with Black Helm in June, and has been working with them to finish the series and release it on a schedule.  Rather than write the next books while the first in the series were being released, Mr. McDaniel chose instead to write the entire series before approaching any group about publication.  After forming a relationship with Black Helm he signed on to publish the entire pentalogy through their channels.  The resulting schedule for release is so far being adhered to.

"It's a novel way to do it,"  says Mr. Jepsen,  "pun only slightly intended.  Usually with a series of this length there's no way it would be complete at time of publication.  Certainly not at the time of the release of the first book.  What this does, now, is give us the sort of tight control that allows us to build reader expectation -- with full confidence in our ability to deliver."

The entire "Star Angel" series spans five books and over 800,000 words.  The final book, "Prophecy", is expected to be released in April of 2016.
