New Art Blog For Star Angel Site Is Now Live

Black Helm Entertainment announced today that the new Art Blog for their Star Angel site is now live. The Star Angel site features information, links, updates and a shopping page for the "Star Angel" series of young adult sci-fi novels. "Star Angel" is a sci-fi pentalogy, a series of five (5) books, about a girl on modern Earth and a boy from another world who are thrown into a fight for their lives, only to discover they may both be connected to epic events in the distant past. Books One through Four of the pentalogy have been released. Book Five is due to be released in November.

"We're happy to have this page live," says Philip Jepsen, CEO of Black Helm Entertainment, the publishers of "Star Angel" and the site hosts. "We've been wanting to have a page dedicated to images and the sorts of inspirational material that really helps round out the overall tale. This series is so grand in scope, covering everything from small settings to sweeping vistas, old technology and new, a war between two entire races ... it needed to be artistically represented."

The new Art Blog will function as a blog, with written posts, but each post will be accompanied by an image of some sort, either an original or an inspiration taken from the web, with a description of where it fits within the "Star Angel" universe. Author of the "Star Angel" series, David G McDaniel, will create the posts.

"Dave will be writing these, using imagery found or generated," reports Mr. Jepsen. "We invite anyone who's read the series to submit their art, which they can also do on the Links page of the site. This is an evolving thing, and we're looking to expand our background and wiki-type info on the series as a whole. Anything that helps flesh out the story just makes for a richer reading experience."

The new Art Blog page is now live on the Team Star Angel website. It will be updated on a regular basis, with new images and blogs being posted routinely.
