Denver, CO - High 5 Plumbing honors A Precious Child for offering critical resources to children and families in need.

Denver-based High 5 Plumbing has announced its monthly charity recipient as A Precious Child, a non-profit organization that empowers children and families back onto a path of self-sufficiency. A Precious Child provides a comprehensive suite of support, resources, and services that includes everything from utility assistance, clothing, employment opportunities, food assistance, and other required basic essentials.

With more than 250,000 children living below the Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard throughout the metro area’s eight-county service area, A Precious Child’s team works tirelessly to provide for as many children and families as possible and is bolstered by a large network of community partners who provide the organization with materials and resources that are in turn provided to its clients.

Through the company’s High 5 Cares program, a charity donation program was established to support and promote organizations that share High 5 Plumbing’s mission of building community through service.

“We are proud to say that the High 5 Plumbing group was very vested in A Precious Child’s mission and it showed in how well they worked and how much they accomplished,” Claire Doyle, marketing manager at High 5 Plumbing says.

In addition to recognizing and publicizing A Precious Child’s mission and work on their website and through their prolific online presence, High 5 employees participated in a volunteer event held on April 16. “They were highly motivated to sort through donations and make sure that high-quality items made it to our families as quickly as possible! They bundled 9,000 diapers, which serves 375 kiddos.” Nicole Everman, Volunteer Coordinator of APC says.
