Denver-based High 5 Plumbing has announced its monthly charity recipient as non-profit Project Angel Heart, in recognition of the organization’s peerless dedication to serving those in need through quality nutrition in times of illness. Throughout the month of December, High 5 will champion the health-giving, life-saving work of PAH, which is comprised of professionals and volunteers from the foodservice industry who deliver medically tailored meals to individuals in the community suffering from cancer, HIV/AIDS, kidney disease, lung disease, heart disease, and other illnesses that make it difficult to pay for, shop for, or prepare wholesome, healing meals.

In 2019 alone, PAH delivered nearly 500,000 nutrient-rich meals to 3,000 Coloradans, over half of whom live at or below 125% of the federal poverty level. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, funding and volunteers have been in shorter supply, which is why the support of the community and its local businesses such as High 5 is more important than ever.

High 5 Plumbing supports Project Angel Heart

“The work Project Angel Heart does in our community is beyond essential,” Claire Doyle, marketing manager at High 5 Plumbing says. “We will do everything we can to help them continue their work, and we are so grateful for an organization like this operates in our community. The level of their service, dedication, and selflessness cannot be elevated enough.”

Since its founding, High 5 Plumbing has sought new ways to not only meet the community’s plumbing needs but also how to give back to the community. Through the company’s High 5 Cares program, a charity donation program was established to support and promote organizations that share High 5 Plumbing’s mission of building community through service.

About Project Angel Heart

Since 1991, Project Angel Heart has provided free nutrition to those too sick to leave their home during an illness or another medical issue in the state of Colorado. Each meal the organization provides is medically tailored to suit the needs of the recipient, and each one is carefully prepared by professional chefs and registered dietitians working from scratch. Volunteers pack and deliver more than half a million meals every year, providing life-giving nutrition, improved health, and faster healing to their fellow Coloradoans.

About High 5 Plumbing

For nearly a decade, High 5 Plumbing has served as a trusted partner to homeowners, businesses, and commercial property managers seeking 24-hour worry-free, dependable plumbing services who are passionate about serving the Denver community. Volunteerism, transparency, and diligence are three core tenets the company’s philosophy is built upon, and the company is heavily relied upon throughout the region for its expert-level service, rapid response times, and open and clear communication with its clients. Every call ends with a High 5.
