London, UK -- Caiger & Company Catering has just published a new blog post authored by Alix Caiger entitled 'London Wine Week'. Many think tea and crumpets, however, the city has come into its own in recent years with a thriving wine market. To celebrate this, Brintex has put together a week long tasting celebration known as 'Wine Week'. The article has been published in order to decode London Wine Week.

The article discusses how Caiger & Company Catering works with Gwen and the House of Wine to compliment their events with a perfect libation.

“We’re delighted to work with Gwen McCann from House of Wine on many of our events,” states Caiger. “She always comes up with some really great wines for our customers, and works closely with us to make sure we’re matching these great wines to the menus that we’re creating.”

The article describes the English Bacchus grape and having a choice of Rosé or Pinot Noir as a nice flavour to accompany summer dishes.

Caiger and Company Catering is a caterer that sources locally grown when possible and has been excited to find an interesting selection of produce. For summer, it was peas and broad beans, for which they teamed up with Gwen to supplement their menu with unique and flavourful dishes using these key ingredients.

“We love putting these in a salad with creamy goat’s curd, a little squeeze of lemon juice and plenty of black pepper and salt,” stated Caiger. “Gwen then suggests a pairing with a Sauvignon blanc for a nice summer palette.”
