Lesson Plan Source, an online resource that offers fun and functional resources to both teachers and students, has released a Printable Fire Book for teachers. This is a six-page book for young ones, particularly those in preschool, pre-kindergarten, or kindergarten levels, who love to read about firetrucks. This is a printable book made up of a title page and common items related to fire, presented as words and pictures. The last page has an area where the young firefighters can write their names. Various versions are made available, which are: My Fire Book Male, My Fire Book Male (Traceable), My Fire Book Female, and My Fire Book Female (Traceable).

A spokesperson for Lesson Plan Source explains, “There is a copy for male and female (depending on whether the student is a fireman or firewoman) as well as copies that allow for the tracing of each of the words. To form the books, simply print, cut along the dashed lines to separate the pages, place them in order with title page first, and then staple 1-3 times along the left side of the book. Use this little book as part of your fire theme, during fire prevention week, or in the hot days of summer.”
