Utah Disaster Specialists, based in Centerville, Utah, have revealed that they have an ongoing Murray Utah sewage cleanup project. They were called to an apartment complex and discovered that the problem started when a tenant flushed a bag of potting soil down the toilet rather than walk it down a few flights of stairs and throw it away. The soil had expanded and clogged the whole sewage system in the apartment. The exploded sewage line had covered five apartments with wet potting soil and sewage.

Daryl Olsen, president of Utah Disaster Specialists, says, “Having raw sewage come into the apartment because of an exploded sewage line is never any fun. You are going to have to deal with the smells that come from the sewage, but also the bacteria that is going to make not only you sick but the entire family as well. Such events are always an emergency but fortunately, we are just a call away. While doing sewage cleanup, we will use equipment that will capture the bacteria. This is going to be a great feature because it will not allow the bacteria to spread throughout the home. This is going to make it easier for you to have a great home and know the bacteria is going to be removed and not spread throughout the home.”

A common problem that comes with an exploded sewage line is raw sewage spreading throughout the home, on the walls and on the floors. Utah Disaster Specialists will get rid of all that harmful bacteria using the appropriate equipment. They will go through all of the parts of the home that have been affected and ensure that everything is sanitized.

Utah Disaster Specialists can also provide other kinds of services aside from sewage cleanup. These include air duct cleaning, fire damage cleanup, mold damage cleanup, Utah disaster cleanup, and water damage cleanup. Water damage cleanup will include flooded basement cleanup, ice damming, pipe leak cleanup, and wet carpet cleanup.

A flooded basement cleanup is a difficult task because of the difficulty of removing all of the water. A homeowner may be able to remove some of the water the hard way by using buckets. However, it is virtually impossible using conventional methods to get rid of all the water including drying out the saturated wood and sheetrock that may also be found in the basement without the appropriate tools and machinery. That is why it is recommended to contact a professional cleanup company like Utah Disaster Specialists.

Ice damming is another service that Utah Disaster Specialists can provide. This occurs during winter because when it snows, ice will tend to accumulate on top of the roof. Ice dams occur when ice lodges at the edge of the roof and prevents melted ice from going down the drain. The ice will continue to accumulate in a particular area and because ice is heavy, this can cause damage to the roof, the gutter, and the walls. One of the unwanted effects of ice dams is water leaking into the home. This can damage inner walls and furniture, and most of all, it can weaken the structural integrity of the home. Thus, it is a good idea to call cleanup professionals like the Utah Disaster Specialists.

And then there is the pipe leak cleanup service. A pipe leak usually occurs during those times when it is least expected. That is why Utah Disaster Specialists are just a call away for emergency services. A pipe leak often leads to flooding and nobody wants to live in a flooded home. That is why professionals are needed to fix the pipe, cleanup the flooding, and dry out the furniture, floors and walls. And for homes with carpets, Utah Disaster Specialists can also perform wet carpet cleanup.
