Fashion Brand Zac Posen Decides To Close Its Doors

Sunsella, a company based in Las Vegas, Nevada, that offers home and kitchen products online, has reported that fashion brand Zac Posen has announced it is closing its doors. Employees of the company were informed about the decision on the afternoon of November 1 that they were immediately shutting down. The e-commerce site has already been shut down.

Posen established his eponymous line of women’s dresses in 2001, when he was just 21 years old. He was regarded a genius when it comes to fashion, resulting in his rapid rise to fame with the help of supermodel Naomi Campbell. He became well-known for his evening gown creations but there have been reports of his having an arrogant character. In 2010, he decided to leave New York and proceeded to Paris, France. Eventually, he returned to New York and recently, he designed a custom wedding gown for his friend, Katharine McPhee, who married David Foster in July 2019.

Posen had stated that there was still in a sale process but there was no longer enough time, thus the decision to shut down. He also stated that he needed to do some rethinking to determine what would be his next move.
