Las Vegas, NV based Sunsella is keen to share their thoughts regarding Club Factory’s recent expansion in India. Club Factory, an e-commerce platform that sells fashion products and electronics accessories, recently announced that they raised $100 million USD, a fund that they intend to put towards widening their presence in India.
To elaborate further, Club Factory reportedly has an impressive user base that exceeds 70 million users, more than half of which currently reside in India (about 40 million). Based on statistics from app analytics firm App Annie, the company has been quick to point out that they are now the third-largest e-commerce platform in India. Notably, this also means that they have overtaken Snapdeal, another e-commerce platform that previously counted itself among the top ranks of its peers.
As a result, this latest infusion of capital—raised in a financing round dubbed Series D (led by Qiming Venture Partners, Bertelsmann, IDG Capital, and select other Fortune 500 companies from Asia and the US)—will allow the Chinese company to cement their hold as they prepare to expand even farther into the online Indian marketplace. It is worth noting that the company raised a similar amount during their previous financing round. With the $100 million they received in early 2018, the company has raised about $220 million to date.
Sunsella representative Mike Law states, “Club Factory has only been around for five years but has already achieved a great deal in that time, especially considering that they are a startup. They don’t charge local sellers a commission fee of any kind, giving them more flexibility with their pricing. Furthermore, Club Factory reports that the number of sellers on their platform has grown nearly 10 times in the past six months alone, and we expect them to keep attracting even greater numbers of sellers and users alike to the platform as time goes on.” For their part, Club Factory has stated that they aim to reach a milestone of 10,000 sellers by the end of the year.
Law continues, “At Sunsella, we appreciate marketplace innovation like this because it gives companies like ours more opportunities to introduce wider audiences to our products. Club Factory currently focuses on fashion and electronics, but there’s virtually nothing stopping them from expanding into other aisles as time goes on. More to the point, we expect that other companies will be encouraged by the example they set. Indian chefs may soon find that they have a much easier time getting their hands on our silicone kitchenware items.”
Sunsella specialises in various kinds of kitchenware but they are most well known for their silicone based products, such as their Leakproof Bento Box Lunch Containers, Silicone Popsicle Molds, and Silicone Egg Rings. As the company proudly states on their website, “Say goodbye to cheap, low quality, and unreliable kitchenware cluttering up your cupboards. Whether you’re preparing breakfast as the kids are rushing to get ready for school, making snacks before driving the kids to sports, or fixing dinner after a day of running errands, you can feel totally confident that Sunsella will help you get the job done.”
They continue, “All of our products are designed and engineered with you in mind, because our customers deserve the best. We hold our products to the highest possible standard in order to guarantee your safety and satisfaction, ensuring you get the best quality product possible. At Sunsella, we understand that your life can get busy from time to time, and we want to help make it a little easier.”
Notably, this is reflected in the company’s customer reviews. One such review from Hayley, a customer who bought their Leakproof Bento Box, says, “This was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a bento style box for my son’s lunch. I love that it is sturdy and good quality, but also that the leak proof lid is easy enough for my five year old to open and close by himself. It also fits nicely in a standard size lunch box with extra enough room for an ice pack and utensils.”
Mike Law and the rest of the staff at Sunsella can always be reached if customers wish to follow up on any further inquiries. More information regarding their innovative kitchenware products can be found on their website, and international customers may visit their associated Amazon pages to check if their products currently ship internationally.
The Sunsella range consists of high quality kitchen utensils and gadgets designed to improve your quality of life.
