Leading Employment Company in Thousand Oaks Acknowledged a Successful Pay It Forward Holiday Hiring Drive

Thousand Oaks, Calif. - A top employment company in Thousand Oaks, CA, Express Employment Professionals, has recently concluded its Holiday Hiring Drive with spectacular results. The overall goal for the Pay It Forward campaign was to have the Express office place as many unemployed qualified individuals into jobs during the holidays which is the busiest time of the year for most local businesses.

The Pay it Forward Holiday Hiring Drive provided optimism and guidance for job seekers in Ventura County. It allowed each newly hired unemployed associate to earn a paycheck to support and provide for their families during the holidays. The Pay It Forward Hiring Drive occurs annually during the months of November and December. However, the Express office continued to extend the dates of the Hiring Drive allowing the Express staff to assist more job seekers each year during the time of year where people need jobs the most.

Ventura County businesses also received assistance during the Hiring Drive as employers gained a qualified worker during the busiest months of the year. In addition, each employer who hired an Express associate had the chance to give the gift of employment to a job seeker who would not otherwise be working during the holiday seasons. Each Express associate was screened and evaluated before being assigned to a short or long term position in a variety of areas such as administrative, professional, and commercial employment opportunities.

After the Pay it Forward Holiday Hiring Drive ended in late December 2017, the successful recruitment company in Thousand Oaks, CA, placed 37 unemployed Express associates with over 26 local businesses. Express pledged to donate $50.00 to a local nonprofit for every unemployed job seeker hired and for every new client referred to Express.

Express partnered with the local nonprofit organization, Lighthouse for Women and Children, who assist homeless single women as well as women with children.
