San Diego, CA -- On June 1, 2017 FunGig was launched, dedicated to helping people get together and experience all of the amazing things to do in San Diego. This exciting new company connects local “in the know” experts with others looking to try taking up a new hobby or simply looking for a new adventure in their hometown.
There are two types of people on FunGig, Funbassadors and Funseekers. Funbassadors are the locals with a passion they would like to share with others while also picking up some extra money in doing so. The Funseekers are the clients, looking to experience something new or to take the first steps in learning a new skill with a fun and friendly companion. FunGig brings the two together and facilitates an incredible day out in San Diego. Once the experience is over the Funseeker and Funbassador leave a review / rate one another.
San Diego is overflowing with great things to do from skydiving to snorkeling at La Jolla Cove, flying a kite at the park, hiking any of the countless trails around the county, and much more. Funbassadors simply choose their passion, create and account, and wait for a Funseeker to purchase their FunGig. Once the FunGig is completed the Funbassador has earned some extra spending money just for sharing their passion with a new friend.
Funseekers could be visitors or people new to San Diego looking to get some local insight or longtime residents hoping to find some new favorite things to do in San Diego. FunGig unites them with locals who are “in the know” and whatever equipment is needed to make the day a success. Finding fun, a new hobby or learning something new has never been easier.
