The Maritime Alliance Foundation, based in San Diego, CA, has announced their 7th Annual Maritime Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony. The nonprofit California mutual benefit corporation's mission is to promote sustainable development of ocean resources, raising awareness and educating. The event is expected to be a even bigger than it has been in previous years, and will be held concurrently with the 7th Annual BlueTech and Blue Economy summit, which promotes BlueTech and Blue Jobs.

"We want to celebrate the American maritime business and technology innovation, as well as share this across the rest of the globe," says Michael Jones from The Maritime Alliance. "Over the past seven years, our annual gala has always been incredibly popular and it has been an opportunity for businesses to share information, create jobs and more. We are really looking forward to this year."

Tickets for the Maritme Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony are available online. The event will take place on November 9, 2015 between 5.30pm and 9pm, and the awards ceremony itself will start at 6.30pm. The event will be held at Crowne Plaza San Diego - Mission Valley, and a number of important speakers will also be attending the event.

The keynote speaker will be Todd Barber from the Reef Ball Foundation, who aims to promote a sustainable ocean. "Todd is Founder & Chair of Reef Ball Foundation," adds Michael Jones. "His story of the Foundation's 25 year journey is a case study of how inspiration, an initial $50,000 investment, dedication, innovation and collaboration have restored a substantial amount of degraded reef habitat while helping replenish fish stocks and creating thousands of jobs."

Todd is known for his ability to create a balance between ocean conservation and human usage, and his story will certainly be a talking point for many attending the 7th Annual BlueTech & Blue Economy Summit, as will the Reef Balls, which the Reef Ball Foundation creates and uses.

Tickets are still available through the Maritime Alliance website. However, places are limited as the event is exclusive, and tickets have sold out in past years. Anyone with an interest in maritime business and innovation, therefore, is encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible so that they don't miss out on this amazing event.
