Marietta, Georgia – As winter is coming to an end and spring is approaching, Tree Service Marietta decided to share spring tree care tips with homeowners early.

“Winter season will be over in a few days,” said the CEO. “Even before you realize spring will be here. They say the earlier the better and therefore walking into spring already knowing the tips to help your trees survive through the spring, is the best thing every homeowner should do. Tree Service Marietta is here to take you through the tips.”

Marietta Tree Removal

The CEO went ahead and shared several spring tree care tips.

“The first thing you will need to do is clean up your yard,” said the CEO. “Winter season leaves the landscape messy, so you’ll need to clean what was left behind. After that, the dead, dying, and diseased branches need to be pruned before they begin to leaf out. Also, when checking for dead and diseased branches, look at the general tree structure, if you find a tree that has been injured a lot, remove it.”

“While still working on winter effects,” said the CEO, “check for the pests that infested the tree during winter. When looking for a place to hide from the winter cold season, the pests settle in the trees. When the weather starts becoming warm, the pests start becoming visible, and hence the right time to deal with them. The pests should be removed, and preventive measures put in place to prevent them from returning.”

“Spring is known to have a lot of storms,” said the CEO. “To be well prepared for the storms installing lightning protection is recommended since the trees are a top target for lightning.”

“Most tree conditions are attributed to the soil,” said the CEO. “Therefore, after installing lightning protection, check the soil structure, and improve it to ensure healthy growth of trees. How do you do this? Add fresh mulch to the trees. Mulching not only helps to improve the soil structure by adding organic matter, retaining moisture, and maintaining soil temperatures, but also helps to suppress weeds. Fertilization will also help to improve the soil by adding nutrients essential for the growth of the trees. A slow-release fertilizer is recommended for long-term benefits to the trees.”

The CEO urged homeowners not to carry out the discussed procedures on their own.

“Although homeowners now understand the procedures that trees need the most in spring,” said the CEO, “that does not mean that they carry out the procedures on their own. Not unless the procedures are performed by tree care professionals, they will be a total failure. Therefore, homeowners should let experienced specialists help them so the trees can finish spring healthy.”

The CEO also noted that Tree Service Marietta was well prepared to handle trees in spring and urged homeowners in Alpharetta and the entire neighborhood to continue making their bookings with the company.

“Tree Service Marietta is well prepared to help homeowners improve their trees spring after winter stress,” said the CEO. “This, however, does not mean that the company is off till spring. In fact, improving the trees now would be better since homeowners will have the least to do in spring. Therefore, tree owners in Alpharetta and its suburbs should make their bookings for all the tree care services indicated on the company’s Google site for exceptional services.”
