Remittio Awarded 2015 Angel's Choice Award at Dublin Web Summit

Remittio, a business in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, United Kingdom, is proud to announce that they have been awarded the Angel's Choice Award at the Web Summit 2015 in Dublin, Ireland. The competition was incredibly fierce and the panel of judges spent countless hours deliberating on who the winner should be. For Remittio, the award is a true vote of confidence in their achievements and abilities.

Every day at the Web Summit a panel of investors explored the venue, meeting with exhibiting startups at their booths. These investors then provided a score for each early stage startup based on a number of different categories, looking to discover companies that they think have exceptional potential for 2016. The panel concentrated on finding startups they were particularly excited about and rated each on the product, business model, potential to disrupt, team and pitch. Winning the Web Summit's Angel's Choice Award means that Remittio came on top in all of those different areas.

"The Angels' Choice Award is the newest Summit award, having only been introduced this year," says one of the panel members. "Being an award winner brings a level of prestige to the company. We have incredibly stringent requirements that startups have to meet to be considered and we look at very specific details in order to identify a winner. With so many different ideas being released in the world of technology, we looked for the company that really stood out by thinking outside of the box. We feel Remittio achieved this the best."

Remittio has been invited back to the 2016 Web Summit, which will be held in Lisbon. The company looks forward to launching their Remittio app using Blockchain technology in early 2016. A review of the launch and other developments the company was able to enjoy since winning the award will be discussed at next year's summit.
