The family of Erin and Johnny Hicks with five children were the previous winners of the free repair. "We are both out of work as my husband Johnny was fired from his government job," says Erin Hicks. "He had two surgeries, leaving him unable to work and I am disabled myself. I make a little bit of money through crocheting, the money of which I use to feed the kids. We all share a room so we could share a small portable AC as well. It was awful. We are all so happy to have been considered for the Saving Vegas program."
