BEES.Social Explains “What Is the Metaverse” in Several Videos

The metaverse expands on the current Internet, which is primarily a network of computers, by providing a network that combines the real and virtual worlds that are all represented digitally. He points out that the early web pages were simply Wiki pages. It was in 2004 when Web 2.0 came into effect with the result that websites became interactive and even started to collect information about people, allowing ads to be shown on computers based on what the computer user had searched or discussed.

And finally, in part 4, Ray and Dusty point out that Web 3.0 will allow people to have choices whether they want a decentralized web experienced or the centralized web experience. In the present version of the web, which is Web 2.0, companies simply took advantage of various ways of monetizing the people using the web. In the present web, individuals had very little control while organizations asked them to provide personal info as a way to gain access to their platform and services. And these organizations monetized this to gain profit. In Web 3.0, the power goes back to the people using the web. Individuals regain ownership of their personal data. Ray and Dusty point out that Web 3.0 is the original vision for the world wide web where all people can benefit from it. Now, with the emergence of decentralized systems and the crypto system and Web 3.0, people are empowered to monetize themselves.
