Commonwealth Learning Online Institute Shares Learning Resources For Teachers

Needham, MA – Commonwealth Learning Online Institute (CLOI), a not-for-profit organization providing online professional development for teachers, has announced a library of educational resources available to educators and teachers on their website, including educational videos, learning tools including games and activities.

“Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the main goals and function of K-12 education remains the same core standards: to help children learn and grow as individuals. Thus, our goal is to provide high-quality professional development to support teachers and educators in their quest, particularly in this challenging landscape,” says Kim Michel, Director CLOI. “Along with our self-paced courses, we want to provide as many opportunities for learning and sharing resources as possible.”

CLOI has a plethora of resources available for Educators on their website, including their personal blog where they share anecdotes, learnings and their thoughts about the educational landscape. Additionally, they share useful videos, games, activities, worksheets and more to help teachers enhance their instruction.

CLOI’s courses have been developed to meet the rigorous standards of a graduate level course and can be taken for graduate credit or professional development points (PDPs). The course expectations are the same for either route. Graduate credit is provided by Gordon College, Westfield State University, and MidAmerica Nazarene University; registrants receive graduate credit from the college of their choice. PDPs are offered through Westfield State University.
