Divvy allows buyers to start putting money toward their future home with just a 2% down payment. The purchase price of the home must be between $60,000 and $300,000.

To qualify buyers need to make a minimum of $2400 per month, hold a credit score of 550 or higher, and pass a background check, including rental history.

Rent-to-own startup Divvy announced its expansion into South Florida in early December with Miami and Fort Lauderdale becoming focal points. The company is also expecting to launch in Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Orlando and more. Based in San Francisco, Divvy initially launched in 2017.
