Anaheim, California - The Lighthouse Treatment Center, a drug and alcohol recovery facility in Anaheim, California, is hosting a Halloween event for its alumni on October 17, 2020. The event, which will be held at the Lighthouse campus, will take place from 2 PM to 6 PM.
According to Jocel Bibera, Alumni Relations Coordinator of the Lighthouse, they will have a Carnival theme for this year’s Halloween event complete with a costume contest, a dunk tank, pumpkin carving, and raffle prizes. There will also be a photo booth, snow cone and cotton candy machine, and a candy station for children. Bibera explained that they wanted their alumni to have a safe venue to celebrate Halloween even during these uncertain times.
“With so many venues closed, we decided to think outside the box and host our own Halloween event for our alumni and their families at our facility. To make sure that we can have a fun but safe event for our alumni members, we are taking strict precautions. Following Covid-19 protocols, attendees must wear a mask, fill out a health questionnaire, and have temperatures taken. Hand sanitizing stations will be available as well,” said Bibera.
Michael Bumpus, a former resident of the Lighthouse and now working as an Alumni Outreach Coordinator for the facility shared that he is very excited to provide their alumni members an opportunity to develop fellowship during the event.
“I had the pleasure to experience an event like this and it was certainly a memorable experience to be part of such an amazing community. Now that I am helping to organize this event for the alumni, I hope that the attendees will also be able to create fond memories, especially during these difficult times,” said Bumpus.
Lighthouse Treatment Center is a complete-care drug and alcohol detox and addiction treatment facility in Orange County, California, and has helped over 20,000 people recover from alcoholism and substance abuse over 20 years of business.
