Aesthetica PLLC has announced that they have recently moved to a new location at 130 E. Long Lake Rd., Ste 201, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The new location means they no longer have to do concierge service in people’s homes due to the Covid situation. Aesthetica provides Botox treatments and dermal fillers, among other treatments. They are a physician-led and operated anti-aging, skin care, and beauty treatment medical spa that serves Metropolitan Detroit. Dr. Keshav Grover, the founder of Aesthetica, employs a broad range of products that are custom-fitted to each patient’s needs, including Botox, Revanesse Versa, Restylane, Juvederm, Dysport, Xeomin, Belotero, and the newly FDA-approved, Jeuveau.

Dr. Keshav Grover established Aesthetica after he had observed an overuse of anti-aging treatments that usually resulted into an unnatural appearance. The primary goal of the medical spa is to offer a custom-fitted approach and concierge level service for each and every client. Aside from non-surgical anti-aging medical treatments, they also offer clients a curated selection of vegan and organic skin care lines, which are chosen by Dr. Grover himself.

About Botox treatment, Dr. Grover says, “Botulinum toxin therapy, also known as neurotoxin injectables, is an effective treatment for diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the muscles underneath. At Aesthetica, we work with a variety of neurotoxin brand names including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and the newly FDA-approved, Jeuveau.”

He adds, “In addition to diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, these neurotoxin injectables are used to relax frown lines between the eyebrows, lift the corners of the mouth, soften smoker’s lines and vertical neck cords. Patients experience little-to-no downtime after treatment. Botox and other neurotoxins are often used for migraine relief, facial contouring, and the reduction of underarm sweating.”

Botox injectables usually last for three to four months and they can be maintained through touch-up treatments. It should be noted that patients get the advantage of having little-to-no downtime after treatment. More about Aesthetica and their services can be gleaned by following their Facebook page.

Meanwhile, dermal fillers may be used to counter facial aging. A contributor to facial aging is the redistribution of the fat and water that are present below the layers of skin. During childhood and adolescence, people tend to have more water and fat under the facial skin. However, over time, some of the fat and water get redistributed to the lower portions of the face, which typically lead to a jowled-like appearance. Furthermore, the facial muscles tend to weaken with age, which frequently results into sagging skin. These result into fine lines, areas of volume loss, and wrinkles.

Various kinds of dermal fillers may be used at Aesthetica. These are generally used for enhancing the appearance of the skin, minimize crow’s feet, get rid of wrinkles and frown lines, smoothen the lines around the mouth, and/or fill the lips to provide a more robust, fuller, and sexy appearance. These are tear trough fillers, cheek fillers, and lip fillers.

In addition to Botox and fillers, Aesthetica also offers chemical peels. A chemical peel is a chemical solution that is placed on the skin to stimulate exfoliation. The purpose is to remove the upper skin layer to allow the young, fresh, and vibrant layer of skin below to emerge. It will also help in unclogging the pores, get rid of acne, and soften the skin. These are usually done in a series and combined with other facial treatments to optimize their effectiveness. A consultation with the doctor will determine whether a chemical peel treatment is appropriate for a particular patient.

Those who are interested in anti-aging treatments, such as Botox and dermal fillers, may want to check out the Aesthetica PLLC website, or contact them on the phone or through email. Those who would like to get more information about the medical spa may want to take a look at their GMB listing. They are open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, from Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.
