Today Philip Jepsen, CEO of ManageByStats, announced a new feature has been released for the Statistics tool in their suite of software tools for Amazon sellers. The new feature provides additional clarity to payout figures when reporting Amazon sales. It’s part of the Statistics tool. The Statistics tool shows MBS users things like profit, ads cost, tax and ROI, breaking out Amazon fees, promo rebates, product charges and more, allowing that info to be grouped by product, brand or custom groupings, sorted by date range, by statement, and more.
“Amazon transfers money to sellers every statement period,” says Mister Jepsen. “This is the most precise reporting period for analysis. It’s everything Amazon has closed at the time the settlement period ends and money is transferred. This is when the seller gets paid. However, there are two things that can affect that transfer: any reserves Amazon has held back, and any loans the seller might have with Amazon. This new feature provides that missing info.”
With the new feature MBS users can now see absolutely everything that affects their settlement period transfer. While those two line items, reserve and loan amounts, are not common, they do occur, and now, when they do, ManageByStats will show that info so the settlement period transfers can be exactly matched.
“We pride ourselves on the precision of our data,” says Mister Jepsen. “Our Statistics tool is used extensively by our users to see performance across products, brands and markets. With this new bit of data we can now provide every single bit of information Amazon sellers need to accurately manage their Amazon business.”
