Lighthouse Treatment Center Hosts Cosmic Bowling Event For Its Alumni

Anaheim, California – As a part of it alumni program, the Lighthouse Treatment Center, a residential facility offering drug and alcohol recovery services in Anaheim, California, is holding a bowling event on February 8, 2020 at the Concourse Bowling Center. Concourse Bowling is one of the largest bowling and entertainment centers in the Orange County area.

According to Jocel Bibera, alumni relations coordinator of the Lighthouse, they included cosmic bowling in their alumni program calendar as a way to introduce exciting sober activities to their former residents. Aside from being enjoyable, cosmic bowling is also an ideal way to promote active lifestyles and community building.

“Bowling is one of the events we typically offer our inpatient clients during the weekends, but once in a while, we organize a huge bowling party for our alumni members during a Saturday night. It’s a great time to exercise some healthy competition while having sober fun,” said Bibera.

Bibera added that the event is open to Lighthouse alumni, alumni families, and staff. Aside from being able to enjoy a few hours of cosmic bowling, there will also be pizza for the guests.

Nick Spinarsky, a Lighthouse alumnus, said that he is looking forward to the bowling event as a way to bond with other members of the alumni program.

“Fellowship is a strong part of what keeps me sober. Bowling is the perfect combination of fun and fellowship. And it’s the perfect way to spend the weekend with friends,” said Spinarsky.
