Home health care company iProven has announced the addition of Ovulation Test Strips to their line of home health care products. These test strips are an accurate way for people who are trying to conceive to monitor their fertility, so they can know exactly what’s going on in their body and how their menstrual cycle is functioning. Using an ovulation test kit allows people to avoid guesswork when working on such an important thing as having a baby, which can relieve a lot of the stress that comes with matters of such delicate timing. The iProven test strips are 99% accurate, so customers can rest assured that they know what their results are every time they test.

The tests are very easy to use - all a user has to do is “dip and read”. First, collect some urine, then dip the test strip in the collected urine for 5 seconds, then wait for 3 minutes for the test to develop, and then see the results. There will be one line that will always appear to indicate the test has worked, the control line - if it doesn’t show, the test results won’t be correct. Next to the control line, there will be another line that may or may not appear, which indicates whether the LH levels in a person’s body are above a certain threshold. A second line is positive and means that they are, no second line is a negative result and means their levels are below the threshold. Because every body is different, the results (positive or negative) won’t necessarily indicate whether a person is fertile. Rather, they allow a person to track their LH levels through their entire cycle so they can find out when their LH levels are surging, which is a sign of ovulation and therefore indicates fertility. For some people, the LH Strips test positive through their entire cycle, but the second line on the test becomes darker when their LH levels increase during ovulation. For others, the second line is only very faint during their LH surge, while not being present at all for the rest of their menstrual cycle.

The test strip manufacturer, iProven, recommends using the LH test strips twice a day, to monitor fertility across the entire cycle. The kit comes with 100 test strips, which allows for plenty of testing. By testing twice a day, the tester can monitor their LH levels over time and know exactly when they have started to increase - which they’ll only do for a couple of days each month. The testing kit also comes with four free pregnancy tests, which use a very similar dip - wait - read testing procedure, so that the person trying to become pregnant can test at the end of their menstrual cycle to find out if they were successful at becoming pregnant. The pregnancy tests and LH test strips were bundled together in the iProven FL-100, and the company is proud to be providing wannabe parents everywhere with such an important tool in their fertility journey.

LH testing is just one step in the baby making process, and is an important component of natural family planning and home fertility monitoring. IProven has a long line of home health care products, both within and outside of fertility and infant care, and are committed to the quality and usability of their products. They are passionate about providing useful educational materials for all of their products, both how to use them and how they fit into the broader picture of health care. Their line includes various kinds of thermometers, including thermometers for tracking ovulation alongside the LH test strips, pregnancy tests, blood pressure monitors, and a variety of other home health gadgets and tools.

The LH test strips and a number of iProven’s other products are available on Amazon. More information, including detailed instructions and information about the company, can be found on the Amazon listings as well as on iProven’s website.
