Notifications Feature Added To MBS

Today the CEO of ManageByStats, Philip Jepsen, reported MBS has added a notifications feature to their suite of tools for Amazon sellers. This is a visual notification, in the form of a “bell” icon users see on their main menu when logged into the program. Much like other visual notifications systems, such as those on phones and social media software, the bell displays a number indicating the number of notifications that have not been viewed.

“This is a feature we’ve wanted to implement,” says Mister Jepsen. “With our intense line-up of other projects, tool development, new features and all else we’ve been up to, the Notifications feature has taken a bit of a back seat. With this piece now in place, it makes it easy to notify our users when we have information to share.”

The system is designed to alert users to new information. The notifications are broken into categories; System Messages, for information pertinent to the state of the overall system, which could include known issues that are being worked on, as well as vital account info; New Features, for when new features and tools are released; Opportunities, or events, webinars and trainings important for MBS users to know about; and the latest Blogs, when posted.

“Rather than waiting on our weekly letter,” says Mister Jepsen, “or sending more emails than we’d like, this now gives us a way to communicate important info to our customers where they need it most: in the MBS interface they’re using to manage their Amazon business. Timely and efficient. We’re happy to have this new feature active.”
