Hattiesburg Hearing Aids Center Joins Hundreds of Offices for a Food Drive Through Month of September

Hattiesburg, Miss. – A leading provider of hearing aids in Hattiesburg, Beltone Hancock Hearing Aid Center, has announced across the country that many of their locations will be participating in the Annual Beltone National Food Drive. The goal of the food drive is to help fight hunger by joining hundreds of other Beltone Hearing Centers to collect non-perishables for local food banks in their area. Furthermore, Beltone will match each donation.

Throughout the month of September, Beltone Hancock Hearing Care Center is inviting the community to bring in non-perishable food items to Beltone Hancock Hearing Care Center, located at 105 N 40th Avenue, Hattiesburg Mississippi or the office in their local area. All food donations brought to the Hattiesburg hearing test facility will be distributed to local area food banks to help those in need.

Once people make their donation, they can choose to make an appointment for a free hearing screening in appreciation of their contribution. According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately 15 percent of American adults (37.5 million) aged 18 and over report some trouble hearing. Those donating food who already wear hearing aids will receive a free pack of batteries. They can also try the company’s newest hearing aids, Beltone Amaze™.
