Boston, Massachusetts — Three Former SFA Interns Launch Proprietary Digital Lending Platform Based on Knowledge Gained During Internship Program.

Search Fund Accelerator (SFA), a highly specialized search fund coaching organization that mentors aspiring CEOs, today announced that three of its former interns, inspired by knowledge and training gained while in the company's internship program, have started their own student loans financing platform.

SFA intern alumni Marco Paschina, Felipe Garcia de la Ossa, and Juan Tomas Leal founded Credyty (https://credyty.com/) to help high school students in Colombia gain financial support to attend college in the Latin American country. Credyty provides short-term, low interest student loans to allow more students to access Columbia's upper education system. The start-up provides loan approval without paperwork and a completely online application process. Applicants also don't require a credit score to apply for a loan. Credyty has enabled students to attend higher education institutions such as Grancolombiano Polytechnic and the Great Colombia University.

Paschina, Garcia de la Ossa, and Leal were Boston University students when they joined SFA's private equity internship program. The summer program teaches interns to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, interface with brokers to source opportunities, analyze financial statements and business models, and recruit and train future interns.

Furthermore, interns shadow SFA's entrepreneurs one-on-one during every stage of their search process, helping them gain insight into many different industries and companies. SFA's workshops and events are also accessible to interns, furthering their exposure to new business ideas.

SFA's summer internship program requires a minimum 12-week commitment and is open to current undergraduate students who receive course credit from their university. Students should also have strong analytical abilities and an entrepreneurial attitude.

Several of SFA's intern alumni have joined investment firms, investment banks, and consulting firms including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Deloitte, and Bain Capital. Several interns have also joined SFA as private equity analyst employees.

SFA interns also enjoy an office conveniently located in downtown Boston, a flexible schedule, personalized career coaching, and networking opportunities.
