Color printing is done in two, four, or six colors. The number of colors used can dramatically affect the quality of the final product. The colors on the computer screen must be converted from RBG to CMYK before the press is able to reproduce them. CMYK is not able to exactly reproduce all of the color combinations created by RBG. These presses use cyan, magenta, yellow, black, orange, and green (CMYKOG) and can produce bright and vibrant colors that remain truer to those found in the original design or picture. Six color presses are used when a product requires vibrant and accurate color in a large space or background.
