Emojis Are Now Available For Insert Into ManageByStats’ SellerMail

ManageByStats has now added the ability to insert emojis into SellerMail messages. This has been a request of many MBS customers, and emojis are now available. ManageByStats is a suite of software tools for Amazon sellers, with functions for sales stats, customers and inventory. Additional tools for advertising, keywords, reviews and feedback, Facebook synchronization and automated emails round out the suite. The automated emails tool is called SellerMail, and until now did not have a function for inserting emojis.

“Connecting with customers is what these automated emails are all about,” says MBS CEO, Philip Jepsen. “And these days the tone and flavor of the engagement are as important as the message. Emojis help create that sense of connection when the words may otherwise be open for interpretation. Emojis add emphasis, and make clear the sender’s intention.”

Emojis can be accessed in the Rules editor interface in SellerMail. The editor is what’s known as a WYSIWYG interface, or “What You See Is What You Get”, meaning the user is able to lay out the intended email, now including emojis, in the exact way it will appear to the recipient.

“Emojis have been shown to increase response rates,” says Mister Jepsen. “They add that sense of humanity that can otherwise be missing when you’re not having a direct conversation. They were not always a part of business communication, but as businesses seek to remove that gap between them and the customer, I think we’ll see more and more of this relaxed sort of communication.”
