Avalon Landing RV Park / Pensacola East, which is among the best campgrounds Pensacola has to offer, based in Milton, FL, has announced that they are open for business. The park had to close with the approach of Hurricane Irma, and it did sustain some damage. Fortunately, just a week after the strongest and biggest hurricane in recorded history had passed, the campgrounds have been fully restored.

A representative from Avalon Landing LLC says: "Like the rest of the world, we watched in fear as this monster of a storm approached. We were told that it was bigger than France, and we have all seen the destruction it had caused across the Caribbean. Naturally, we took all the necessary precautions to protect ourselves against the storm. While some damage was experienced, it was all cosmetic and we are now once again open for business."

Those looking for some peaceful RV parking Pensacola has to offer are welcome to contact Avalon Landing. Some RV parks and camping grounds have not yet been able to reopen, mainly due to extensive flooding, leaving various RV owners with only a few places to go. The representative adds: "We have many spaces available for rigs up to 45 feet. We're also pet friendly and we even have a pool deck, which wasn't damaged at all. If anyone is stuck at this time, please do contact us as we still have spaces available."

There are numerous campgrounds near Pensacola, but none as beautiful as this one, as many of the park's residents can attest. It has waterfront, pull thru, and off water sites, and it is close to several local amenities as well. As many people had booked vacations to come to this area, the camp is playing an integral part in keeping the economy of this area strong. Those who have stayed there in the past have been wholly positive about their experiences. LuAnn P-S says on their Facebook page: "We have been here for almost 4 months and love it. Very quiet yet close to Pensacola, shopping and most importantly .... the beach. Jim & Wendy are wonderful hosts, very helpful, and go out of their way for you. So happy we chose Avalon Landing as our new home."
