KARL Chevrolet, a car dealer in New Canaan, Connecticut, has announced that they will be the Presenting Sponsor for the upcoming 3rd annual New England Auto Museum Father's Day Car Show. The Chevrolet Dealer in CT pointed out that the event is set to take place on June 18th at Matthew Park in Norwalk, Connecticut.
The car show is scheduled to be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will offer hundreds of unique autos for car enthusiasts. Aside from celebrating Father's Day, the occasion will also commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Chevrolet Camaro, and thus will include a display of the 50th anniversary Camaro model.
"It's going to be a car show like no other," says Leo Karl III, president of KARL Chevrolet. "We are all excited to be able to show off Camaro's anniversary model and I'm sure there will be a number of other cars in the mix that will catch your eye as well."
Admission to the event is free of charge although voluntary donations will be accepted. All proceeds go towards the New England Auto Museum for their building and educational funding. The Auto Museum is a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations to function.
"It's a wonderful cause if you are looking for something to donate to," says the CT Chevrolet dealer. "Be sure to come out for great food and refreshments as well as great cars. We'll be offering gourmet popsicles from PopCentric and trophies will be awarded to cars based on certain categories. It will be a fun day for all."
Karl says that spectators of all ages are welcome to come out and view the classic cars on display. The event will be held next door to the Stepping Stones Children's Museum and the historic Lockwood Mathews Mansion Museum. The event is set to feature two celebrated automotive classics. The Chevrolet dealer will provide the Camaro and England's Morgan, a builder of handcrafted vehicles since the early 1900s will be showing as well.
