WBEC-WEST Introduces the Host Committee for the WBENC National Conference & Business Fair

WBEC-West, a Regional Partner Organization (RPO)of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) has announced their Host Committee members for the upcoming 2017 National Conference & Business Fair (NCBF). The Host Committee's objective is to represent WBENC as ambassadors and to provide information about the organization, its conference, goals, and content.

Host Committee members also serve as spokespersons for the 2017 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair to a variety of media outlets on the local, regional, and national levels. They help WBENC to gain exposure by reaching interested constituents in the development of Women’s Business Enterprises or WBEs. WBENC is a nationwide organization composed of 14 RPOs. WBEC-West provides certification and women’s business development for the western region of the United States. All members of the Host Committee are certified through WBEC-WEST and are thrilled to welcome the WBENC network this year as the event is planned to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017.

The 2017 Host Committee is chaired by Lisa Michele Chretien and co-chaired by Susan Munro. Chretien is President and CEO of EventMover, Inc., while Munro is President of Hybrid Collective. The co-chairs are joined by women in business from a variety of different industries.

Other committee members include Heather Cox, President of Certify My Company; Rashmi Chaturvedi, President of Kaygen, Inc.; Sylvana Coche, Founder and CEO of Gravity Pro Consulting, and Kathy Dawson, President and CEO of Staffing, Inc.

"We are all thrilled to have the opportunity to help others to reach the level of success that being WBENC-Certified has helped us to reach," says Coche.

Deanna Edwards, President and CEO of Intu Corporation; as well as Charlene Hesketh, President of Photomation; Ronda Jackson, Principal of Decor Interior Design, Inc.; and Louise Parker, President of Blade Editorial, Inc. are also members.

Parker states that her company has grown significantly since being certified and urges other entrepreneurs to "definitely take the time to learn just how WBENC-Certification can help your business to grow."

Other Host Committee members are Robin Richter, President and CEO of Wearable Imaging; and Janeen Zook, President and CEO of Trattativa Meeting and Event and Solutions International.

The National Conference & Business Fair is the largest conference of its kind for women in business, the 4,000 expected attendees include entrepreneurs, representatives from the Fortune 500 and the U.S. Government and other partner organizations.
