Matthew Martinez Announces New LTC Seminar

Matthew Martinez an Independent Financial Advisor, has recently announced an upcoming long-term care (LTC) seminar in the Scottsdale, Arizona area.

“Choosing the right strategy for long-term care needs is essential as our population ages. Our seminar will address these concerns and help you work through solutions,” Martinez says.

Long-term care services can be costly, and are not covered by many general healthcare insurance plans. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says that an assisted living facility may cost roughly $3,300 per month for a one-bedroom unit, while a nursing home may cost between $6,200 and $6,900 per month. “Right now, between state and federal government, 61% of LTC is being paid for by the government. This will change over time. And for many baby boomers, the idea of Medicare or Medicaid paying for these costs may be a thing of the past,” says Martinez.

“Most people have firsthand experience with a loved one in a nursing home. The actual risk of the U.S. general population (over the age of 65) for needing long-term care (either skilled nursing or home care) is 70%,” says Martinez.

The seminar will be held on October 26th and 27th, at the Capital Grille in Scottsdale. These seminars are free and educational and anyone is welcome to attend. The information presented during each seminar primarily benefits attendees who are 50 years of age or older. Each seminar is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. at Capital Grille.
