InsideOut Hyperbaric & Wellness Center Sponsored St. George Marathon

InsideOut Hyperbaric & Wellness Center has been the essential part of the alternative health community since the grand opening in July 2016. The Center has sponsored several sports and health events in St. George, Utah including the recent St. George Marathon.

The St. George Marathon is an annual marathon sporting event hosted by the City of St. George, on the first Saturday in October. The first race was run in November 1977. It was originated and organized in just a few months by Sherm Miller, who worked for the Parks and Recreation Department of St. George City. It is currently the 13th largest marathon in the United States.

Rated by Runner’s World as one of the four “Marathons to Build a Vacation Around” in the World The St. George marathon is included in Runner’s World 10 Most Scenic and Fastest Marathons and Top 20 Marathons in the USA. It begins in the majestic Pine Valley Mountains and descends nearly 2600 feet though scenic southwest Utah, to the beautiful Worthen Park.

The St. George marathon always attracts a serious number of local sponsors including hotels, dealerships and, of course, health, wellness and fitness businesses.

Ryan Brinkerhoff, the co-founder of the InsideOut Hyperbaric & Wellness Center said, “That InsideOut Hyperbaric & Wellness Center’s participation in this event was rewarding for the business and the runners.”

He mentioned that the marketing campaign and special pricing helped to bring extra revenue and allowed marathon participants to increase endurance and prepare for the long race.

Also, the runners had an opportunity to take advantage of this special offer after the race and use hyperbaric oxygen therapy for restoring and healing their bodies after the grueling marathon.

Brinkerhoff stated, “The runners who participated in several sessions before the marathon, noticed the positive effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy during the race. At the end of the race some of them who participated in previous St. George marathons, saw their final time had drastically improved.”

In the near future the Wellness Center is planning to run a special HBOT package offer for athletes participating in different competitions including athletes who are coming from abroad.
