Plumbers In Macon GA Save Woman's Life

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Middle GA, based in Macon, GA, is proud to announce that they were recently able to save a woman's life. Two of their plumbing technicians responded to an emergency as they returned from a regular service call for plumbing in Macon. Tony Stewart and Brannon Ussery found a stranded woman and stopped to help her.

Curt Reynolds from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Middle GA says: "Tony and Brannon noticed a stranded female driver in Macon near the I-16 and I-77 Pierce exit ramp. She turned out to be approaching diabetic shock, leading her to be in a state of confusion. The quick thinking of our two employees probably saved her life."

Upon finding the woman, the two Macon, GA emergency plumbers took the woman to a Circle K. Brannon then ran inside to get some orange juice while Tony phoned an ambulance. By the time paramedics arrived, the two had helped her get her blood sugar level under control and keep her belongings safe. They then stayed with the woman while she waited for her husband's arrival.

"We were just trying to help somebody who was in need of some care," Ussery said. "We try to do stuff like that as much as we can and it wasn't really anything out of the ordinary."

For the two, helping someone in need was simply a matter of instinct. The wife's husband took to Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Middle Georgia's Facebook page to express his gratitude for the quick actions of the two plumbers. "I hope I have the right Mr. Rooter Plumbing company," says Barry D. "I just want to say a special thanks to two of your employees. Last night, around 7 PM, Tony Stewart and his helper came to the aid of my wife who went into diabetic shock due to low sugar. She was driving when this occurred. They found her on the Pierce avenue off ramp. She had stopped driving and was off to the side of the ramp. No one had stopped to check on her until they arrived. They called 911, secured her vehicle and valuables, and stayed there until I arrived. Their unselfish actions prevented a much worse outcome for my family. I'm thankful for what they did and thankful for the type of employees your company has on your staff. This post is just a small way that I can say thanks to them. I will recommend your company to my family and friends just because of their actions last night. I'm forever thankful for what they where willing to do, and did last night."
