More than a hundred Zofran birth defect lawsuits have been consolidated into Multidistrict Litigation, i.e., MDL 2657 through the middle of November. And the number is growing quickly.

Women who took Zofran during their pregnancy and whose children have subsequently suffered birth defects need to know information on how best to file their own Zofran compensation lawsuits.

Some women who have not yet filed a lawsuit may wonder if they are still eligible to do so.  According to attorney Wayne O'Bryan, the coordinator of the Medical Compensation Help Team, they can indeed still file and join the multidistrict litigation MDL 2657.

In fact, O'Bryan says, they should.  Any woman who took Zofran during her pregnancy and then had a child who suffered birth defects may be eligible for compensation - and joining the MDL 2657 multidistrict litigation will optimize her chances of getting it.

That's because multidistrict litigation is a special federal procedure intended to speed up the process in which complex cases are handled. To ensure the most successful outcome, any affected woman should seek legal advice as soon as possible.

To help women navigate the process, personal injury lawyer O'Bryan offers free consultations to women who have taken Zofran and then delivered children with birth injuries. They can request it by visiting the Medical Recall Help Team's Zofran Birth Defects Compensation information website.

Once on that website, they will find a number of helpful articles. They also have the option of downloading a free Checklist on how best to approach their efforts to get compensated for their child's injuries. The download comes with optional access to a full special report with many more details, along with information on how they may contact O'Bryan for their free consultation.

O'Bryan also emphasizes that it is important not to wait too long when it comes to taking action. There are several reasons why waiting can negatively affect the outcome of a Zofran compensation lawsuit as more things can go wrong with a longer wait time. These can range from required medical records getting lost to missing important legal deadlines.

The key mistakes that could happen during the process are all addressed in the checklist as well as the expanded report.  In addition, the free consultation will answer specific questions about how to proceed.

Both the checklist and the full report, along with access information to the free consultation, are available on the Help Team's Zofran Birth Defects Compensation website.
