How to Prevent Stretch Marks Video Uploaded to Stretch Marks 101 You Tube Channel

In their mission to answer common questions about stretch marks, Stretch Marks 101 has uploaded the new video “How to Prevent Stretch Marks” to its YouTube channel.

Stretch Marks 101 uploaded the first video to their channel in early June, 2015. Since then their entertaining and informative videos have been educating people about the problem of unsightly stretch marks.  Stretch marks are scars that appear on the skin of a person when they lose or gain weight too rapidly. Women often get stretch marks on their breasts and abdomen during pregnancy. A decrease in the protein-rich connective tissue collagen has been linked to especially noticeable stretch marks.

The Stretch Marks 101 video “How to Prevent Stretch Marks” teaches viewers that the prevention of stretch marks depends on healthy, moisturized skin.  The video goes on to recommend a daily regimen of applying a nourishing cream such as the cream found on Amazon to affected parts of your body in order to maintain the proper moisture level of the skin, as well as to replenish hormones and nutrients.

In addition to educating the public about prevention and treatment, the Stretch Marks 101 You Tube Channel helps people face the fact that while the methods suggested by their videos can cause old stretchmarks to dramatically fade, only surgery can permanently erase them.

To date the Stretch Marks 101 channel hosts 18 videos covering stretch mark prevention, to ways that promote the fading of new and old stretch marks.

The issue of body image is also addressed. Many people, postnatal women in particular, believe that their stretch marks will render them unattractive to their partners.
