Deepak Oberai, and optician and director of Albert Road Opticians, announced that his optician equipment greatly improves the comfort of their clients when they come for a checkup. This is good news for people who generally tend to avoid getting their eyes checked out because of that small puff of air that makes them jump out of the seat, every time.

Albert Road Opticians said that patients never have to worry about this procedure anymore, because they have other means of doing the same checkup, but without the puff of wind. Deepak Oberai added that this is an area that Albert Road Opticians takes very seriously, because they want their clients to feel comfortable throughout the checkup. This is important because it ensures that more people get their eyes checked out, as there will be less fear involved, and it also makes the examinations more accurate, because the optician can spend less time in trying to calm the patient, and instead, focus more on the examination at hand.

Albert Road opticians remind people to check their eligibility for an eye examination that is actually paid by the NHS. For example, if a patient is under the age of 16, or is under the age of 19 and is still getting full-time education, they are eligible. Also, if the patient is 60 years of age and over, or suffers from Glaucoma or diabetes, they are also eligible. There are other criteria that make a person eligible as well, and this information can be found on the optician's website.

Deepak Oberai stated that he and his team are dedicated to providing their patients with an excellent service. This is backed up by the following statement he made on his website:

"All of us at Albert Road Opticians share a passion for eye care. Our unique practice environment and loyal patients give us the opportunity and freedom to challenge different products and styles."

Albert Road Opticians said that when they installed their equipment, it was always the focus to think about patient comfort as a priority as well. They wanted to have high quality equipment that would help the opticians run an accurate examination, but the patients also needed to feel completely comfortable and relaxed during the process. When a customer visits them at the practice, they will be greeted by a friendly team, and before the examination begins, one of the members of the team will ask a series of questions based on the patient's lifestyle and vision. After that, the patient will go through a 45 minute, unhurried and in-depth, analysis of their vision and health.

Albert Road Opticians was established in 1991, and is located in Wilmslow. Deepak Oberai urges all interested patients to go to his website where they will be able to contact his team by email or call them by telephone. He said that patients will also be able to find a dedicated page that provides their patients with 7 questions that they can ask their optician before they begin the eye examination as well as icare information.
