San Diego, CA June 3, 2015 - The San Diego Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum is happy to announce the inclusion of Mead for its 12th Annual Wine Social.

Mead is unique because the event normally includes wine from 30 boutique wineries.

Golden Coast Mead specializes in Mead made from California Orange Blossom Honey, and Palomar Mountain Spring Water.  Mead, the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world is produced by fermenting honey.

“Mead is honey based, fermented magic. We take California honey, mix it with spring water and ferment it," says Natalie Thomas, Director of Sales; Southern California, for Golden Coast Mead

Anita Rusch, Executive Director of the San Diego Chapter of the MITEF says, “We have been getting requests to have mead at the wine social, and I loved it so much when I visited Golden Coast Mead, that we had to invite them”
