The Advanced Clotting Sponge has an active agent that, when applied, promotes accelerated clotting at the site of the injury. The SWAT-T Tourniquet can be placed high in the groin or armpit area to clamp down on arterial blood flow and reduce or stop bleeding from that type of injury. The idea is that these tools will help stabilize the victim until help can arrive.
